Greg encountered Jesus Christ as a student at Old Dominion University in 1990. After graduating in 1992, he completed a Discipleship Training School with Youth With A Mission in Richmond, VA and the Dominican Republic. Shortly after, Greg and Eileen were married and sensed a call to missions, serving in Mexico during seminary at Asbury Theological Seminary.
Greg began pastoral ministry at Stokesland UMC before planting a church in Suffolk and being ordained an elder in 2003. He served Grace Harbor for eight years, helping establish both an English-speaking congregation and a thriving Hispanic ministry, while he and Eileen hosted small groups in their home as a model for discipleship.
In 2010, Greg became an Evangelist and later served full-time as Chaplain at Virginia Wesleyan University, where he discipled students and shared the Gospel. He led yearly mission trips to Nicaragua and Puerto Rico. He also co-led academic trips to England, Scotland, and Israel, and taught “Methodism: The Wesleyan Revival” at the University.
Greg now serves in a dual capacity role with Life In His Name and as the Superintendent for the Virginia Conference of the Global Methodist Church. He and Eileen have been married for over 30 years and have three adult children: Josiah, Evie, and Luke.
