"Jesus performed many other signs in the presence of his disciples, which are not recorded in this book. But these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name."

John 20:30-31

Life In His Name Ministries

A Welcoming Word from Greg

In the verse above, John concludes his Gospel by revealing the purpose behind his writing: that the reader “may believe that Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of God.” And if, through reading, one does believe, something new is offered — life in His name. This is truly good news.

Earlier in his Gospel, John tells us that Jesus offers both abundant life (John 10:10) and eternal life (John 3:16). Interestingly, Jesus defines eternal life not by its length or quantity, but by knowing “the only true God, and Jesus Christ” (John 17:3).

Far too often, the Gospel Jesus preached has been reduced or narrowed. Jesus referred to it as the “Gospel of the Kingdom” (Matthew 24:14). It is far bigger than many realize and touches every aspect of life on earth. In fact, the Kingdom of God was the central theme of Jesus’ preaching and ministry.

Missionary and theologian E. Stanley Jones once said, “The Kingdom of God is God’s total answer to humanity’s total need.” The Gospel is not merely about information, religion, or a future destination — it is about the transforming reign of God breaking into every part of life.

Life In His Name exists to help people encounter Jesus, experience transformed life in His name, and advance Christ’s Kingdom across the globe through four core pillars:

• Awaken Life — Proclaiming Christ
• Form Life — Discipleship & Small Groups
• Extend Life — Local Outreach & Evangelism
• Advance Life — Global Partnerships

The hope is that this website encourages, challenges, and points people toward Jesus and His Kingdom. If there are questions about Jesus, faith, ministry, partnership, or opportunities to serve together, please reach out through the Contact page.

"As God is a missionary God, so the church is to be a missionary Church."
